Mogotes limestone outcrops.
I took this before I really got into photography, it was 3 images taken with an old Nikon Coolpix compact in 2007 on my honeymoon. It may look gloomy but it was about 90 degrees and 99% humidity. Apparently the only other places in the world where you get these limestone outcrops are Vietnam and China, but Cuba have the only ones that are not surrounded by water.
Fantastic country, crippled by US trade embargoes, our hotel furniture had to be shipped from Europe as they couldn’t get it from the USA, even my must have Che t-shirt was madin Glasgow!!
